    SPRING Street Car SHOOTOUT!!

On Saturday, JUNE 11th, 2011 Street Cars from all over the area will meet at the Old Kmart parking lot in Forest Park Ohio. (12171 Omniplex Ct, Cincinnati, OH 45240) We will meet then drive to Tri-State Dragway to see who is the Baddest Street Car in the area.

Registration is from 10:30am-11:45am. You MUST register between these hours in order to participate in this event. You will give your name, address, color & type of vehicle that you will be driving. You will also receive a 2011 SCS Sticker which will need to be displayed on the lower front Driver side of your car.

At 12pm, we will fire up the cars and head out to Tri-State Dragway. Participating vehicles will be DRIVEN under their own power to Tri-State. Support Vehicles/Tow Vehicles can driven at the tail end of the convoy.

The route is simple....Head out of Kmart, turn right onto S Gilmore/Winton rd. Turn right onto I 275 (WEST). Travel to Colerain Ave (US 27) (Exit 33A/B) turn Right off exit. Travel North on 27 to Hwy 128 Ross Exit. Turn Right off exit and travel to Tri-State Dragway. (4 1/2 miles on Right)

You will tech in with Tri-State and adhere to all their Rules and regulations. Once you have your number, you can make as many runs as you want.

After your run and you receive your run ticket from Tri-States ticket booth, you will need to stop by the SCS Pop up. It will be located near the ET Slip booth.
You will tell the SCS Offical your Name and he in turn will check your time slip against the number on your car. Your run will be recorded in the Registration book (from Kmart) and the top 16 at the end of the day, will be awarded the Top 16 Stickers! Number 1 will also receive a Plaque.

    NOW, IF WE HAVE TIME....

We will line up the Top 16 and have a HEADS UP SHOOTOUT!! It will be set up on a Sportsman Ladder!
    1vs16................2vs15
    3vs14................4vs13
    5vs12................6vs11
    7vs10................8vs9
The overall Winner will receive a Heads-up Shootout Plaque and a SCS "WINNER" sticker.

Cost for this.......Whatever TS charges for Test & Tune. Cincy Speed is supplying the Plaques and stickers.

I hope to see everyone there, Daily Drivers, Street Cars, Race cars disquised as Street cars, Diesels....whatever. Bikes can run, but will not be in the hunt for the Top 16.

So many definitions....MY definition is one that shows up to the parking lot, gets driven to the track and busts off some ETs. KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid)

Craig, I will do my best to be there, I guess I will have to put my slicks and skinnies on at the track, since there would be NO way my car would get traction with street tires on it. I just need to make sure I got someone to drive the truck and trailer for me.

Doubt I will get in the top 16 but sound like fun though, as long as I don't break my turd again!! At least it held up for E20 on Sunday for me with no issues and we were beating on it pretty good.

    Thanks for heading this up
