    Serious though, what kind of backstop? I might bring the SKS and most know what a dirty SKS likes to do. No problem holding it down with the muzzle brake, but it sure is fun!

    Got an AK-47. Know what you mean. Backstop past 150 yards is woods evertually into a hill. No people or structures. We used to shoot from the barn but after owen electric pulled bullits from the main overhead power line, we moved the range.

    Anything to sit down on to benchrest/sandbag on?

    Reason is none of my guns have been shot since I moved, need to check "zero" on them.....
