Time to not worry about the c4 anymore!
A little more progress!

Looks good.
Steps
Looks a lot better I think on those wheels!
Finally a transmission

I don’t think it ever ends

You sure got a lot done!
It has been busy since March. Dual boost solenoid setup on Co2 using dome pressure, behind bars aluminum tank, ethanol content sensor, new earls fuel filter, 35 spline gun drilled rearend setup, anti rollbar, new coilover springs all around, Fully built Aod-e, new derale trans cooler setup, wilwood front brake setup for 15” wheels, racecraft drop spindles. This past week was new arp chromoly exhaust manifold studs and trueing up the on3 manifold flanges.
Went from the 3” intercooler to a 5” today

I'll be interested in seeing what kind of IAT's you get with that 5" cooler. I keep waffling back and forth about an A/A.
If I ever actually get it out and get some data I’ll let you know
Do you still have the bumper in there also? Ive got the 3 inch in my red car and its pretty tight as it is.
Thought about that after I posted it. The LX does set back pretty far.
Man that looks good! Like it so much better with those wheels and how it sets.
What alternator bracket is that? Id like to move mine over to the drivers side too.
niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiicaaa aaaaaaa
Thanks!! I’ll have to check with bracket it is
Car is looking sick

Car is badass man! You going to have it at the Dozen Shootout?
Brian, it may be this one, I don't know of too many that put the alt on driver side and high like that. Breeze Automotive
I doubt it’s dialed in by then. Need tires mounted this week and alignment. And a lot of people are weeks out for any dyno time
I’m down for quite a while. Developed another manifold leak on the dyno and broke the bellhousing on the trans. Not sure if it was already stressed some from coming from an 1100hp car some already or not. Everything lined up perfect going together.

Man that sucks!
Going to just put everything in another case?
Trans was dropped off Friday to have the internals put in a new case. Silver Fox Trans is the only one who does an SFI bellhousing (JW Aod bell machined for the Aod-e) for these trans that will work with my converter (He said he couldn’t guarantee the trans finished until the end of the year). QuickTime I would need to switch to a 10” converter.
The car made a little over 700whp (forget the exact number as I was trying to find the vibration issue) on 15psi at 5500rpms on the only pull we were able to make once we added a little pressure on top of the spring. Still needed leaned out a bit and some more timing
sweet. Sounds like there is more power to be had. How much timing are you running at WOT currently? Are you on E85 or race fuel? Engine compression?
Low compression 8.5:1, e85, I believe we were in the 13-14ish degrees of timing. I can look at my timing table in Holley to verify. Yeah it should, as it will get a bit more boost added on!
Bump up that CR!!!!!
I’ll just compensate with more boost until it runs out of turbo lol then go bigger turbo
My current issue is finding a trans case!
No secrets here lol I’m hoping boost is enough lol
Sucks it may take them so long to get your tranny together. Hopefully they can better that time.
Def starting modest on the timing. Very nice setup. I saw a guy on another forum make over 1000 on a 9.3:1 turbo setup on a 4.6L 3V running 93. So you have the sky as the limit unless you run out of injector of fuel pump before you get there. You should be able to feed that car 17-18 of timing WOT currently with little issue and pick up quite a bit more safely. E85 as I recall loves timing because it burns so cool. Cant wait to see it.
I'm running 18 degrees WOT @ 11:1 compression 11psi on 93 in the 17 and ran the same timing on 10.5 psi on the 14 setup on 93.
Wish I had a garage to do an engine build for a roller so I could put the theory I have learned reading Banish's book on tuning.
This was copied from another forum.
It occured to me a while back that there is no limit to how much power can be made with pump fuel. You simply keep lowering the compression ratio and adding more boost. Each little hit you take in off boost power comes with a huge gain in on boost power. Here are some rough calculations I did for a typical small block turbocharged intercooled street engine at various static compression ratios. I attempted to see at what boost the auto ignition limit would be for each engine and then what the power would be at that boost. I used 4% loss in power for each compression point drop. They are likely grossly inaccurate but demonstrate the point.
