Thanks! Maybe when I get slicks I can pick up more mph. The last set of slicks I gained 4-5 mph over the 555Rs. I for some reason couldn’t tell my foot to not lift during shifts today.

It was a Great day at KY Dragway on Saturday. I got 5 runs in, but High RPMs and 4th gear dont like each other very much. I played with the strut settings and found out that it lost 60', so I put them back to where they were when I started.
When I could find 4th, I managed to get into the 10s.

Haha, I was out testing my transbrake and bump box today. About done with all the winter changes. Got em done before the last day of spring, by the hair on my chinny chin chin. Sportin a digital dash now with a fuel gauge! That works!

Deck had some bad spots so I tore it down and had it decked. Waiting on some parts to finish it up.

Thanks guys!! Went last night to the Battle of the 28's at MCR and ran Street car class. Ended up going to the finals. While it was not an 1/4 mile - i did run new PB's in the 60ft and in the 1/8th. I lost in the finals by a car to 1.5 car lengths but i had a blast.

New PB for me last night at the running of the dozen. Redfire, nxcoupe, 2fast4u, Lambo, and a few other new faces to me were there. Thanks to nxcoupe for the engine work. This combo will be a lot of fun. Built short block, New cams, Swapped to c heads, and a single plane sullivan intake manifold. Last night was the first day at the track with it. I ran a few engine passes and then put the smallest jets i had in the plate and sent it.

Went to Kilkare tonight to make some passes in the 93 hatch. Only got one pass in due to an oil leak... I checked and filled the oil before I left knowing it leaks a little from the oil pan. Well once you get to a certain spot, it leaks it out quicker! Should've left it alone!

Anyways spun on the hit and the 60 ft was down. Did pick up some from the last pass. Timing is set at 10 now and has an electric fan and aluminum radiator. No other changes. Still need a tune or see where this one is. Should definitely be faster I think.

Thanks! It definitely has more in it. I am blowing through the clutch in top of 2nd and through 4th gear. I am going to rethink the clutch setup this winter.

4’s are def next! Got my first 5.1! 18 degrees of total timing with -12 for the first 2 seconds! What’s that mean!? A bigger tire going under it. 305 is no longer enough. 315, putting a sway bar back, Steeda Drag bar in rear w links and see if we can’t put power back in. So smooth. Thanks Craig.

Trying to get an 8.9x on a a9l computer is really getting tough! Has the power but have to short shift at 6200 to keep from shutting the car off and shuts off at 6500 in high gear, hence only gaining 8mph on the big end. Lol

Ok, I got mine figured out as well Shannon, I think. I'm 99% sure. I need to get out one more time as well, so I can verify it. If it is fixed, this et is going to be replaced. This was at Clay city, Walter, Shannon, Neil, Adam and Craig were there. I'm in the right lane. Took me forever to get this, guy in the tower put down the wrong number, it's supposed to be 554, so I got the wrong slip, but we finally figured it out.

This is his 98 stick car. Not the 2000 blower car. The blower car is dads. So that violates the hired driver rule. But that one would definitely help us get in the 9s avg. hahaha To make you smile, we just swapped pulleys on thursday. It should come out swinging in the spring. :) we took off the 4” pulley and put on the 2.75”. Should make about 350 more ponies with this one. That will spin the 3.2LC KB blower to its 18,000 max. It should make waves in the true street events.
