2021 Dirty Dozen Builds

[THE DOZEN MASTER]

Now that build season has fully kicked in, what all is everyone is up to? Let's hear those build plans!! New power adder? Bigger power adder? New engine? Chassis work? Whole new build? Post up and then keep updating throughout the winter as things progress! Love to see what all of you are up to!

I'd like to say I have something fancy in the works but I don't.

Black car will probably remain the same. General upkeep but other than that, nothing.

Red car may get the turbo stuff removed and the C4. I really want to go back to a 5 speed and maybe add a little Vortech. Oh and put the A/C back on it. Just want a fun dependable cruiser.

May start another build if I can find one. That's where the turbo coyote will come into play. We'll see how it works out.

Just did a bigger blower and made real good power. New trans build, drive shaft and diff in motion now. Should rip.

Mount my shoot the light tb switch. Change the oil. Switch over to dome control and swap wg springs. Buy and install a digital dash. Start saving for a sleeved block. Send controller back and get Gen2 upgrade. Have Jason put some brackets for my weight bar under the trunk. Look into putting a 10 gal cell in the trunk instead of the 5 gal. Prob make some holes in the valence for intercooler and trans cooler air flow. Trans upgrades and converter are on the horizon. This jy trans can't last forever.

Nothing, This winter I plan on finishing up the Nova.

However, if I have any money left over, Id like to put Big Tires on all 4 corners, a rear wing like Kenny has, add PS and a front sway bar. I had way to much fun on the backroads of KY in the Fall and would like to make it more reliable for the turns.

Putting the new Whipple 3.8 on the new motor that’s being built by BES and some fuel system upgrades to handle more Powa.

New motor is full of billet parts and more cubes.

For me I'm just looking to get back into the high 9s again and see where it all goes, I'd like to think I could get into the low low 9s or possibly even the high 8s but short term is just getting back out there and hitting the 9s.

I did get to go to the track a few times.

First time was 12.7 @ 116 (I believe without looking at ticket). Was hot out and ended up messing up the trans (was already making noise before I went) but ended up not wanting to go into gear in high rpm.

After I had trans redone (bowler stage 2 setup) I went back and went 12.3 @ 118 or 119 (was hoping for a 120 mph pass).

I’m going to get some better (street tires) over winter and go back out come spring and see if I can dip into the 11s in full street trim.

Built motor going into the 2006. VS Racing 60mm Wastegate and Motion Raceworks CO2 for boost control. I just picked up a 1988 Ford Thunderbird that I am going to work on getting going. Going to have an L33 5.3LS and 4l80E with a Holley Terminator X Max in it for now.

I like how the Maven mounts are placed on the chassis like that Craig. I was scared to just use a single stub out to hold a S400 chassis turbo, so I spanned across both sides for my new front mount setup.
