Final dyno run before I took it to get the 8.50 cage installed. Decided while it is there to have Jason convert the exhaust to a 4" bumper exit as well. Will put it back on the dyno after that.
495 HP / 505 TQ on 14.3 psi (10 spring / 5 psi dome commanded) on a non-lockup converter.

Want to note that this should have been much higher but his full exhaust acts like someone stuck a potato in it at 4500-5k. Should be an animal after Jason works his magic and my tune can do its thing.

We've seen what an exhaust can do to a turbo car. Crazy!

Did you make the pulls with the air filter on the turbo still?

JIMS SVT - There is no air filter on the turbo - just a turbo guard screen.
89notch - its 3" coming off the manifolds then back to the stock over axle tubes and then FRPP GTA mufflers.

Have you tried to remove it? I had a issue years ago with a screen on my turbo.

I made right at 1k to the tire with a 3 inch downpipe all the way back to tailpipes. I think your problem might be that 68mm exhaust wheel. The 4 inch exhaust won't hurt but I would be willing to bet that 68mm is causing some serious back pressure.

it dyno'd pretty close to the same with no screen on the stock ECU on a locked converter. There is a 4" pipe that goes to where the factory airbox was to get cool air from the fender. I don't think it is causing an issue currently.

It could be. The plan is to replace the turbo after the motor is built - right now that 68 will make more than enough boost to send a rod out the SBE. Decided to do the 4 inch now since it was at fab and same time down the road. Plus it add's the "cool factor" as well.

I guess we'll see what the issue was after the exhaust work is finished. You guys have probably never seen a 3V turbo kit before, they have about 3 times the hot side tubing of a normal turbo kit and his mufflers were not straight thru mufflers.

I built one that was the first to go 8’s and eventually went 7.89

Nice! This probably isn't like the one you built. This is similar to an On3 kit, if you've ever seen one of those.

I would put a 999.00 ls7675 on it I bet it fixes it. I bet your back pressure is sky high with the 68mm wheel.

Those are hard to beat really for the price. I was gonna pick one up myself.

I don’t know if a new turbo will be in budget for this year. That 8.50 cage and install is about going to tap me out.
