I ended up not getting the Kenne Bell, so I went this route.

Decided I wanted to change up my rims from the 2004 Mach 1 wheels to something a little different. As far as I know, I am the first to put this combo on a classic Mustang.

This is the kit that I purchased:
https://lmr.com/item/WTK-464816Z/mustang-sve-series-3-wheel-tire-kit-bronze-htr-z2-94-04

For my suspension setup:
I am running 1" spacers on the front and rear.
The fronts have have 1" lowering springs with an extra 1/4 coil cut out:
https://www.cjponyparts.com/contour-coil-springs-1-lowering-1967-1973/p/CSC6773/
The rears currently have the stock leaf springs and a 1" lowering kit:
https://www.cjponyparts.com/rear-end-lowering-kit-1-1967-1970/p/CLK1042/

And that is it. No fender rolling. And everything is fine in the front with nothing rubbing from steering wheel lock to lock.

I think it turned out awesome! I just wheeled it out of the garage, so really didnt take the time to clean up the tires yet.

Man that's a huge difference! Looks real good!

I always loved the front of the 69. One day, I will have a 69 Mach 1...

Looking good! You can go plenty fast with just a carburetor.

Its getting there, I ordered some 4.5 1" drop leaf springs for it. Also got a Willwood front disc conversion. I am debating getting a 9" for it, I dont think my power level warrents it, but I hear upgrading the 8" is just a waste of money. Like a 10 bolt in a 4th gen. After that, a coilover conversion in the front (really wish I would have done that from the start, just didnt know.)

Nice ride. What coilover kit are you looking at I’m considering some for my 69 too.

The QA1 is the cheapest:
https://www.cjponyparts.com/qa1-pro-coil-front-coilover-system-single-adjustable-with-450lb-spring-rate-1967-1973/p/MS40210450/

Prolly go with that one. Everything else goes up to $1000 or more.

EDIT: These seem promising as well

The Viking stuff is pretty nice and probably well worth the money.

The more I look at it, the more I like it. Has double adjustable shocks and uses the stock shock "hangers" as opposed the QA1 for the same price.

I know this sounds insignificant but have you thought about color matching the red decimal on the 5.0 emblems to match the wheels? Just curious. Looks nice.

I like it. A lot of older cars look weird when the owners go for the modern low profile tires, big wheels, huge offsets etc, becasue they take it too far- but that looks good. Wheel color works well with the paint too.

That'd look good.

Done a bit of work to it. Ended up ordering a QP 9" for it. Got the rear sitting just about perfect now. Has a little bit of rubbing with the fender lip, so I am going to be cutting them out today.

Front needs to come down a bit to match. I sold my old rims, so I did order that Viking Coilover setup, supposed to be here in a few weeks.
