First is all ok.... my car had a brake failure. Pads went... and I went on a ride. Somehow someway the Big Guy upstairs was riding with me.

Lesson learned. If you have a chute, use it everytime wether you think you need it or not.

The Lambs were there as well making passes.

My brother is in town from alaska and made his first passes down a dragstrip ever last night in my dads laser red 96 cobra. We had 3 mustangs and a sunbeam with a 5.0L and a 5 speed. Dad is 75 and still rowing gears and using a man pedal.

This is why I drive north to MCR. It was packed last night there all but 1 lane was full and they did 3 prep sessions with dragging the track each time to the 330 and spraying.

It will get better with time I hope. This year has been a rough year for everyone with this virus crap and all the mandates. Im sure it had some effect on their crew members as well. Next year, hopefully it changes for the better.

So Friday I ran into some problems and decided to bring the grench out. I made quite a few passes and the car was a 12.0x every pass. Finally made a pass I thought was an 11, but it was a 12.002@114.95. Crap!
So I tried something out of desperation and it didn't work at all, so I got back into the lanes. There was only about a 10 min wait and I was back at the lights. Car launched HARD, and it felt good, but didn't look at the ticket. I got back to the lanes and Shannon and Terry were givin me thumbs up and congrats, and I said what? Shannon said you went an 11.9! I started hollerin and smackin the wheel! Finally!

Im debating on running the slicks and skinnies again. Saturday, I put over 120 miles on the street tires, on the back roads of KY! It was a BLAST driving through the turns, in 4th, up to 7400 rpm! Although, the Drag brakes are probably warped now. LOL!
