For Automatic Transmissions ???

I'm pulling the Stick out of the 66' Mustang and replacing it with a C4 Auto ... (Flame Away !!!)

I have a C4 I was told was good to go, But I'd like it to be checked out to be sure, Without getting F'd over ...

Also looking for a stockish torque converter for it too ... Stockish 289 4barrel. ...

Thanks ...

Id suggest a place down by me but that's way to far to drive for a C4 rebuild.

I wouldn't recommend a c4 unless you want to rebuild it all the time.

If you want a 4R70W done right - Darrin Burch - BCA http://www.bcatransmissions.com/ - built mine and several other 4R70W's for single digit race cars. Great service and knows his stuff. Stands behind his work.

You plan on racing the car or a stock rebuild type thing?

So ... ???

Remember, I was told that the transmission had been rebuilt and never used, But you guys know the results of me taking people on their word ...

Didn't know if there's a way to check it out and see if it's good to go or not ... I have a new Flexplate, Lines, Convertor, Mount, Cooler and original 1966 Shifter ... Just don't want to trust that it's good to go and end up pulling it back out ... Figured a couple hundred bucks ahead of time could save me a headache down the road ...

I'd trust Brian at Finishline Performance to work on my Ford GT and let him drive it home every night -- if I could afford one. He is one of the most forth right persons I have EVER done business with. He provides fair prices (not buddy prices but fair prices...he has to make a living) AND HE BACKS UP HIS WORK! You can't find a more honorable guy turning wrenches.
