Long time since last posting - did a complete new build on the car. Custom turbo kit / return fuel system / intake / injectors. Was going to go to NMRA in Bradenton but did not get the car ready in time. This video is on the dyno a couple of days after the NMRA event. I like to think this is why I didn't make the race so it happened here and not on the track.
So new driveshaft / UPR chrom moly upper / lowers with spherical bearings inbound now plus a new pinion flange too.

Damn, that sucked. Like you said though, better there than on the track.

Yes, that would have been very bad at the track. Sucks to see things break but nobody got hurt and the car can be fixed.

Is (was) that a 2-piece DS?

No it was a 1 piece that was custom made .

That was nasty. Same thing happened on the dyno at Finishline last week. DS exploded. Hope you get it sorted and resolved.

What was the cause of the failure?

I am thinking bad pinion angle. Had swapped in several rear suspension components and pinion was off.
