Anybody doing any runs yet? I was wondering if edgewater is still as rough as it was the first couple weeks of the season. I finally dusted my car off from the winter hibernation and drove it to work. A coworker tried to coax a street race out of me in his prostreeted stroker 4 linked monte. It took a lot of will power to not go race him on the street since i have not been able to race since november. Any way. I like it. The color is a good choice. Always liked the Monte Carlos of the mid 80's. As for E20? Not much planned for me this year. Car has a few issues at the moment. Going to get it dug into later this week. Put the stall converter in and its coming back out. Even with a 3200-3400 stall it's just not as street fun to drive for me. And I am not at the track enough to really justify it so out it will come and up for sale the Circle D will go. I should have just geared down to a 331 and saved a lot of money.

Finally got my trans issues solved. If the weather holds I am going to MCIR tonight for a Test and Tune and then to Team 260's Neglection 2.0 No Prep on Saturday. Made some Mexico passes last night and it felt great.

I think it cooked the bearings. It makes a nasty sound and it feels weird when you turn it. Kinda sloppy/ chunky. Can't see any metal in the intercooler core, so hopefully the motor is ok. Shipping it to whipple Monday for inspection.

I was having issues trying to get the 2-step to engage so I as guessing on the launch RPM. It either bogged or spun.

Thanks, it's been .40 faster in the 1/8th than last night earlier in the year. I don't know if my tires are going away, ramping boost too fast, or both. But the car was all over.

I am making some suspension changes and putting new front radials on in place of the bias tires. That run was only 18 psi and the slowest ramp the controller would let me put in.

I took the 2011 out to Edgewater today. I am finally getting to see it's potential. I got the car's new best et and mph all while hitting the limiter on 2 shifts. A couple more tune revisions and it will see some 8.80s. Todays boost peaked at 17.5 psi. There's a TON left in it.

Just putting this out there for you fast guys. If somebody will lay down a nice 8.90 or faster pass to replace the 89notch pass that was removed due to breakage we would have our 9 sec average. We are at 10.19 right now based on my quick calcs. Including kennebellcobra’s second 9sec car’s 9.93 and dtony’s 9.15 that were not updated yet.

Then the control arm let loose and changed my mind! Ill need a set of tires now and to fix the upper control arm before Ill be back out, most likely next year...

Time to lock this one up. Great job to all, especially Walter and kennebellcobra for managing to put (2) 9 sec cars each on the list. Pretty sure just one of them doing it would have been a first but both of them doing it definitely was.

We ended the year with a solid 10.185 @ 137.58 average. That 9 sec average continues to allude us but I think next year may be the year it gets done, we have a few quick guys that aren't on this years list that I'm guessing will make next years and I think that'll be enough to get the average over the top. Get to working on those upgrades and combo changes for next year and let's get after it. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
