No prob. Was hard to get shots because of all the tripods and photographers down on the wall (where I would have liked to have been but couldn't). I'm loving the continuous shutter mode for action shots. 4-5 frames per second makes for some cool shots.

Yes, I had hoped it would get there this year but just ran out of time. Still looking to have it started and running before Halloween, it'll be close.

Just photo shopped three images of the same pass together. Shots taken in continuous mode catching the car at different points in the run. My blending is a little to be desired, but its my first. Got the idea from a poster I had as a kid of Don Snake's Army Funny Car showing the car at different points on the track throughout an entire run.

I'm just good at hiding the flaws by keeping it small. LOL! Blown up to size you would see brightness and contrast issues and some alignment problems which can be corrected with practice and time.

That's a good start Chad.

Thanks Shayne. I think a graduatedblur effect on the first two would have made things more interesting. Still a work in progress on the BBR fox body I caught some good action on.

It's nice having Chad around because he can show what the car is doing w/ the photos versus guessing.

I was able to find a few open holes. Got some great shots but they were killed by magazine photobugs stepping in front of me just as the action started. I was able to get inside the walls for a short time when Shayne was making his second round of passes. Between the walls and stands was reserved for NMRA video and photo staff free lancing the event. Thankfully unlike National Trail the track sits down and isn't raised so you get a better view of things. The old eye seems to be getting a little better perspective on things these days it seems. Still just a novice though. I'd love to get shots like Tabitha who used to post here quite a bit. She is my inspiration. Haven't heard from her in a long time.

I think she post on some of the Face book groups. I know you don't care for social media.
