New project car

I've been out of Mustangs for a couple years now and decided to jump back in with a 1993 notchback. Some of you guys may recognize this car as it was Alan Pittman for several years and was Scott's a few years prior to that. The car is a 100k mile car with a completely stock engine and an Immaculate black interior but does need a little bit of paint and body work to be amazing. I already has an 03 cobra irs with koni coil overs and all the maximum Motorsport goodies as well as cobra brakes all around. I have been considering doing a widebody for quite sometime so that may happen with this car. The plan is to do a 295 Square setup on the car using the CCW classic wheels that I have already picked up. I also have all of the Maximum Motorsports parts to do the front suspension as well as all of the parts to do the cam, heads etc etc on the engine. With that being said I am slightly considering selling the car and picking up an air-cooled Porsche 911 so someone please talk me out of that, LOL or make me an offer I can't refuse on the Mustang. Here are a few pictures as it currently sits. The black notch is Matt Farrah's car I got the please of seeing in person at bbi autosports in CA. I have loved it ever since. The 911 is the color scheme I am currently thinking of doing but that is not set but I love Audi nardo gray. If you are curious about the steering wheel it is a Momo proto tipo that was designed by Magnus walker and I actually purchased at his shop in Los Angeles and was to go in my first 911. The rear CCW wheels are about a half inch too wide so I have a little of a rubbing issue. Till I buy narrower lips or go full widebody I picked up some enkie's to run for now. Fitment is spot on for wheels that came off an fd rx7. The notch looks great! I agree with the grey paint scheme, I have seen a few grey foxes and I have liked each one (the color seems to fit the car well). Idk about the wide body thou, I think the fox looks good how they are.

Thanks guys! Hopefully Tin Soldier will have the tailpipes fabbed up very soon and I will have a few more updated pics of those and the wheels on the car. Design of the custom printed wrap should be done in the next couple weeks and soon as I get some proofs I'll post those up to see as well. I'm giving my partner pretty much full artistic freedom to do what he wants so it may be wild or it may be crazy awful, lol.

May need the offset from the control arms to get more caster out of it. Just in case there is anyone following along still, installed the spoiler last night. Also if you are wondering why I went with this style the here are the near final proofs of the wrap design I'll be printing and installing soon. Spoiler hoes along with the theme of the car. Huge shout out to Skepple on the design he is awesome to work with. Also thinking of selling my new sparco seats to go with something a little more vintage. Also just replaced my 0 offset maximum Motorsports a arms with the offset to get more caster and should have it back from the allignment shop tomorrow. Really hoping it handles more like my M3.

Haven't posted anything in a while but just a small update. Car is off to Brandon @ BA to get a new tko600/spec clutch and QuickTime bell. Once home it will get a Griffin aluminum radiator and contour fan setup. I then need to make myself do a wire tuck to clean up the engine bay a bit but not looking forward to that. We will also be doing a good photo shoot soon so look for good pic coming in the next few weeks. In the meantime here are a few other pics and a small vid of backing the car out right after the wrap was done. Haven't posted an update in a while. Big changes to most all parts of the car. Picked up the a4 block beefcake was selling and I'm adding a ProCharger d1sc to it. Of course that means upgrades to everything else so car is getting cobra tank and fore triple pumps which will feed DW injectors. Also ditched the stock computer and quarthorse setup for a Holley hp and their 10" guage cluster. Also decided that running 18x11 on all four corners would help with traction so swapped one set of CCW classics for a wider set and changed the color combo to gold centers and brushed lips. Those will be wearing 315 Toyo r888r tires. Going wide also means I will be cutting off the quarters and fenders and adding flares.
