96-98 Cobra intake.

I am in need of a 96-98 Cobra intake. 937-527-eight 1 four 2.

Could you use a second gen mark viii intake? Similar to a marauder or 99-01 cobra intake. I have two of them if you can use those. The throttle body ends up at roughly the same location as the cobra. The 99-01 cobra is the cold air kit we have used on our mustangs.

I have looked at them, I assume they will work, they just don't flow as good as the Cobra intake does. I may have to go this route though, people are stupid on their prices of the Cobra intake. I seen several mark viii intakes on eBay and thought about trying one, just never pulled the trigger.

I have a cobra intake. My brother runs the mark viii. Our cars are virtually identical down to a few small details. He dynoed within a few hp of me and always beats me at the track by a tenth. I am not convinced there is a power difference. He still says he is going to switch to a cobra intake sometime too. But if you are interested we have two.

We have put mark viii engines in my dads 1999 gt, my friends 98 gt and my brothers 98 gt. Myself and friends car have the cobra intake and we all dynoed within 15hp. All different exhaust and air intake setups.

Probably all of it. I bought a 98 Cobra motor to swap into my GT but the guy sold the intake and plates off of it.
