Who else is planning to go? Since they are running the MG event on Friday , I will be there on Thursday. Should be fun with all the track upgrades they have made.

Will be a busy weekend running basically two events in one. The schedule right now has the last runs on Friday being done around 11pm barring breakdowns or anything rlse.

I was considering it, but knowing now that Maple Grove will be wedged into the four day event tells me that True Street will likely get stiffed on passes and turn into a circle jerk like it was in BG last fall. I was looking forward to returning to National Trail to run again as the event last season was VERY, VERY well organized. I don't foresee a repeat of this with MG finals not being cancelled and stuffed into the four day event. So as the Magic 8 ball would say, "ALL SIGNS POINT TO NO" at this place in time.

I do appreciate you sharing this. I am suspect that NMRA if contacted would not elaborate.

Well they still don't have the track done as I was there this Sunday and they were only running 1/8 mile. They got a lot of work to do before next weekend. Staging lanes are nice now for sure. Still have a butt ton of rocks in the pits near the stands so be prepared for that with sticky tires. The turn out is pretty close past the 1/8th as well , kinda like Kilkare. You can go down further but it is rough and bumpy.

If the rain doesn't hold off and let them finish it this week , there is going to be some upset NMRA folks as having to run strictly 1/8 mile.

They lowered all the prices at the concession stand by a dollar across the board.

I noticed all the prices being dropped on Friday some by half.
Im told they are going to try and finish this week.
I know they don't have any events schedule till next Wednesday to try and get everything done.

Where the &*$&*@#$&@*() is kirkersville?

Plus I thought the NMRA was this weekend. Got to the track tonight and was seeing Brandon and all the NMRa cars doing TT and I was wondering what was going on. I found out it was next weekend not this weekend. Been crazy around the house while the wifey is gone tending to her mother.

Was a pretty good time! Good seeing Eric and Chad show up to hang out! And Bob kept me company as well!

I redeemed myself and made 3 clean passes. Went 10.54, 10.56, and 10.53. My two time trial passes was 10.52 and a spinning 10.66. Still didn't win anything but it was good making it out and playing.

I didn't get to see to many others. It was hot and nasty so I tried to stay in the shade!

Bob ran in True Street also but he was having issues. Maybe a tune or converter issue.

Chad got to ride with me on the cruise. Hope he enjoyed it!!!

Got to see Gaston, Bob, and Brian make passes. Also saw the gang from Finishline. Eric and his friend Bill also showed up to watch. Was a great Saturday, in spite of the light searing on the back of my neck. Thankfully I thought to wear any color but black. LOL!

i made the semi finals of Ford Muscle. I ran index F or 13.00 as it was high DA and hot. Qualified 6th with a 13.046. Took the 1st round on a red light but i had her covered anyways as i ran a 13.008 on a 13.00 index while she ran a 10.97 on a 10.50 index. Next round I ran the #3 qualifier who what running an 11.50 index. He broke out because I pulled a 0.040 tree and i ran a 13.07 on my 13.00 index . his tree was 0.078 but he was chasing me and didnt back into me at the stripe. Next round I drew the #1 qualifier who was 0.002 off his index and he had great trees all day. I knew I had to cut a great tree and run on my index. I cut a 0.030 light but we had time to burn at the start and i was too hot and ran a 13.13 against his 11.60 on his 11.50 index with his 0.070 tree gave him a 0.038 victory. Got $75 for making the semi's . I also won an AEM X gauge wideband in the True Street raffle as well.

Car ran steady all weekend. 13.011 , 13.016 , 13.045 , 13.073 , 12.89 , 13.045 , 13.033 , 13.023 , 13.008 , 13.072 , 13.13 all were 103.35 up to 104.39. Pretty happy that I was one of the few 3valves running again 5.0 yotes in the 13 second index for True Street and finished with a 13.11 average for that.

On to the next race!!!!

Thanks!!! If you DA correct the runs the majority of them are 12.6's and a 12.5 so that is where I wanted to be. I did get some great advice from my friend Chris Parisi - who told me to stop chasing the number and just enjoy it and drive the car for what it will do. I did that this weekend and it went pretty well.
