Temp will be 68 high Friday with a chance of a shower possible. Low temp of 52 predicted. I'm going to hope for the best and head down.
Looking to forward to seeing how the front suspension changes and the rear tire change to 275/60/15 ET Street Radial Pros effects the 60ft and traction off the line.

Is anyone planning on going on Saturday to actually race or does everyone just go to the TnT's? Thinking about hitting both up potentially.

I wont be there. Still haven't even got much done to mine yet. Went to swap the blower belt and found a junk bearing in the Metco pulley. Hopefully I get the new one soon.

10.97@126 tonight/ 1.66 60 ft on first pass on brand new green tires. Track was worse than the street for traction. But it was nice to got out and make a few passes. Good to see Shayne and Gaston there.

Are you running pump gas?

Yes. I turn a deaf ear to E85. It is not able to serve my purpose unless someone would create a 36 gallon fuel cell that would fit in an 18 gallon gas tank space to give the car the same driving distance per tank on E85 as it currently gets @ 25+ MPG on 93 which I can find at 95% of locations east of the Mississippi.

Pretty Impressive, can you go much further on pump gas with your setup?

16 gallons is the official cap on the 2014 GT. I can avg 22-24 MPG romping it some when making a safe pass on a two lane 3.5 hour trip (US 50 Indiana) to my grandmother's house. So that equates to 352 miles. I've heard a top end of 14 MPG babying it on E85 which is only 224 miles. My driving habits would have that at 12 more than likely at best so in my world that would be about 192 miles to a tank. Closest E85 to me is Sharonville 6 miles away.Next Closest is on Reading near Gold Manor. After that Loveland is the closest.
Just not a convenient means of alternative fora car I want to do more than drive to the track or get out for summer holidays.

E85 kills long driving. I always carry cans with me just to be safe. Its 25 miles to the nearest station with E85 also.
I reckon I get about 115 miles or so to a full tank. But its worth the gains in power and it usually runs about $1.70 a gallon. Makes for cheap race gas!

I have E85 stations all around me and on my way to work. I converted my Srt4 and Volvo to E85. I never decided to switch the Cobra because I just stopped at 500 whp with it and the car isn't driven but 1000 miles a year now which gasoline seems to store better during the winter. My goal was a 11.5@120 and after that I just stopped. Still looks like around 650 whp is limit on pump gas and supercharger setups on a 03 Cobra I've seen. Not sure what people are getting with coyote motors and I'm not sure what safe limit is on pre 2015s Gt 5.0s without forged internals is.

^^ Depends on who you talk t0 from what I have found. I conservatively consider 600RWHP as the safe point from what I have seen, as most catastrophic failures I have read about have occurred above that level. Then there are some who claim believe 650 to be the reference (though many will state oil gear upgrades are essential to sustain that). A few are making 700RWHP without having any issues on stock internals.............yet. There is a lot of speculation on what the engine can handle, what improving the oil pump gears will do to improve life on higher than 600 setups on stock internals, etc. Some have hypothesized that banging off the rev limiter is what causes catastrophic failure regardless of HP output up to a point. There are still others in the FI world who claim anything over 12psi is too much for the stock compression setup regardless of RWHP which is a reason to be concerned. There are a ton of theories on the limits of the pre 15's max RWHP.
