Wifey didn't especially want to see the new Kong movie, so I went to the theatre near Tri County and say Kong Skull Island in IMAX 3D. Afterword's, went across the street and had a plate of Hooter Wings and a pint of Guinness. Very enjoyable day. By the way, the movie is fantastic. Unlike any other King Kong movie. :popcorn:

I took my kids to see it. If you stayed past the credits you saw a short trailer that hinted at a Godzilla , Mothra , and Hydra movies coming. They enjoyed it and I am glad they did not a straight remake of King Kong.

Yea, I stayed and saw the "easter egg". I read there will be 2 more, one where Kong fights Godzilla and 1 where he fights Rodan.

Oh that'll be sooooo cool to see Godzilla versus King Kong again. I remember watching all those when I was young. My uncle had em all on VHS and Laser Disc. LoL

I enjoyed all of those when I was younger as well, looking forward to them. I do have a gift card to AMC, I guess I should go use it.

Saw the Thursday 10:00 preview of it before opening day and 5 times since.......a great movie that sets up for some spectacular upcoming battles in future movies as has already been said. Plus if you research further this sets up a whole new monster multiverse...according to the producer/director!
