So my M & H Racemasters got a 3 inch nail in them and I dont think a patch is going to do much good. So looking to buy a pair to get me thru. I need a 17" as that is the size of my stock wheels that I am using now for my drag set. I have a 275 / 50 /17 now which is the largest size I can put on the factory rim. Anyone have some opinions on brand / size / etc?
Or better yet anyone got a spare set of rims and DR's they are looking to sell maybe? I am fine with even going with 15's on the rear as well. I can buy what I had before but that is @$550 and goes back on the heavy stock rim. Would like to maybe save a little weight if I can. I have a smaller pair of tires to run up front as well if the DR's I get are shorter than the stock Pirelli PZero's I have now. (235/55/17)

Hmmm... I have been looking to get into a 15x8 wheel. Any chance you'd be interested in my Dark Star setup with 305/45/17 MT ET Street R series on them? They have a partial season of TT's on them. Tires are little less than a year old.

I might be interested in them. That is pretty much same height I have now. Same sidewall height and revs per mile just a bit wider.

Any one of them can handle the power you're going to be throwing at them. Find the right tire height you need and you'll be set. Once you hit 700+rwhp. That's when you start nitpicking which one is better.

28" tire is pretty much optimal height for me with my gear set. The M & H's were 27.2 and red's DR's are 27.8 so that is right there in the window.

Born a Hoosier, bred a Hoosier, will die a Hoosier. Bob Knight for President 2020 and may MILES BRAND's Bones be shivering in the ground.
Now if only we could rid IU of Tom Crean, casper milk toast, and all around good guy, but suck ass coach. At least he has given IU the claim to all time Big Ten turn over per game average with his sad weaving offense BS, and lack of ability to teach arrogant one man band ball players how to play at the college level as a team. IU would be somewhere with a better coach. Been saying that for 8 years. Would love to have the former Butler U Coach Stephens filled the spot, but he went to the pros.

Tread depth to wear bar measures avg .068"-.075" (that 2+ 32nds of tread wear to the wear bars. 0.3125" = 1/32
Tread depth to bald is .137"+ or better than 4/32"
There is one light scratch on one spoke. The center caps show some wear signs only around the mounting bolts.
I checked MT's website for tread depth new and found none.
