I'd prefer something around Fairfield area, will try Smyth in Pisgah. But it seems Savage in Hamilton closed a while back.

I have access to a hot washer tank in Madisonville but I have to do the babysitting and someone a PITA to get to at times, even though I know the owner (Gene Jr.)

This was a clean case to start with, but only hot water is used, no detergent.

I'd love for all case to come out this clean.

PS image tags not working properly, needs tweaked in vB settings.

The Smyth you speak of has a washer. They cleaned out an old fuel tank for me a couple years back.

My old job had one to clean popcorn kettles, haha. I'm not sure what they used but both Performance Engineering and New Power Engine Rebuilders have machined and cleaned parts for me. They are both pretty close to Fairfield.

I went to Smyth yesterday, got there at 5:30, machine shop closes at 5 pm, dangit.

PKFIRE: either of those places would be perfect for me, will check them out, THX!

Trans case pair dropped off to Eric @ PE, then I went to Hydes for breakfast....so much for a diet right?

Same price as I was paying the trans shop, but would have to go there when babysitting my grandson. With Eric I can drop it off one afternoon, then get it next day with less traffic issues.

Now if my son and his family would get a house on this side of town, I'd have no reason to go back to the east side.

Just to bump this, thanks PKFIRE for mentioning Eric @ P.E.

His neighbor @ Atomic (Green Civic Wagonvan) asked if I was into Honda's......I just drove off, if you only knew :)
