I finally got the 20's on the 14.Nitto 555 G2 series 305/30's in back with 255/35's up front. Went completely a different direction after getting a steal on a set of Vossen VFS2 slightly used. Had them color matched to the Charcoal gray stripes on the car. Strange front adjustable struts are sitting in the basement and BMR GT500 front drag springs are on the way, that are supposed to only drop the front 1". The 5.0 logos will be coming off and either gloss black ones or Charcoal color matched 5.0's will go in their place. I am also going to replace the lug nuts with black. I'm pretty happy with it all. Turned out better than I had hoped IMHO.

Nice!!! I put black lugs on mine as well. Changing the color on the 5.0 logo's will look sharp. Looks great.

You get those from Tino ? Were they bronze before ? Paint or powder ?

Thanks Shayne. I just gave up trying to install lowering springs on the Strange front adjustables. Pulled an old pair of front struts I had from the13 apart to use the upper bearings and found out real quick that the bearings aren't like the typical bearing I was expecting. Balls went a flying everywhere. I tried to find them all. even thought I had broken the thing. So I gave up ond tried the other one and had good luck until I went to mount it with the new springs on the new strut and again ping! the assembly popped apart and bearings fell out all over the place. WHAT THE FRICK?!?!?!? So I'll just continue to be that guy" and take the car over to the boys at Finishline Performance and have them do it.

Thanks. Will be happy after the front shocks and struts are on Tuesday and the front sway bar is deleted.

Less weight forward of the front wheels (37lbs as I understand it), and it is supposed to allow for better weight transfer to the rear wheels on launch. Several S197 setups on another site have done this along with the single adjustable front struts and don't notice much difference if any on the street. IT can always be bolted back in if I don't like the street feel or if there is no improvement off the line.

Oh, im aware of the advantages you listed. Sounded like in another post that you were content with the cars performance and wasnt messing with it anymore.

Always looking for better transfer of power at minimal cost. I am happy with the car, I just wish this year for it to make a 10 sec pass in 85 degree air as it did in 65 degree air.
