Anyone else planning on going to the event? Never too early to start planning!!!! I have my room booked. Looking to travel down on Thursday and be racing on Friday. Will either drive down and pack the car with my gear since it's just me most likely or might borrow / beg / rent a trailer.

Found a decent room not too far from the track for a good price as well.

Going to run True Street and looking at doing Modular Muscle or Ford Muscle this time over Super Stang.

Getting closer to the date!!!! Anyone else planning on going? Got my permanent number for Ford Muscle so I am racing that and probably True Street as well.

Well got the car pretty much done to head out on Thursday. Borrowed a trailer from Jon Pickering (races Open Comp in NMRA) so will be trailering it down. Anyone want to ride along your more than welcome. Got plenty of room in the Dodge. Should be fun weekend.

Ill be staying at home. Wish I could go but that's a haul. Ill stick to National Trails, if its still going on there this year since it sold.

Im planning on going again. I just saw yesterday that it sold to Shelby LLC and I just read that they will continue to hold all the big events such as NMRA Mopar Nationals and others.

Me, Mike Bell and Doug Schneider (91lxnos) went more than 10 yrs ago and it was one of the best times i've ever had! Even doing head gaskets in the pits, it was still an awesome time. :D

Got everything done on the car last night. Front sway bar removed , oil changed , driveshaft loop installed , put the drag radials on since I am trailering down. Leaving at 5am on Thursday to drive down. Packing my stuff today / tonight. Weather is looking great for this weekend too so that is awesome.

Who gives a shit. 25 years, and still have not been pulled over for a plate yet.

I don't have one on the Cobra and have never been pulled over for it. I don't have one on my truck and have been hit a few times for it. I guess it depends on who, when, and where.

Warning: The following is a slight exaggeration to an otherwise true story. The place and events are correct, however the quotes may be slightly inflated. Not a story for those incapable of comprehending exaggeration for making a point.

Was pulled over one time by a female Trooper for "speeding" though the SUV in front of me was pulling away. She asked me about the front plate that was amiss on the front of of 94 Mark VIII. The conversation went as such:

"I noticed you don't have a front plate on your car".
"It's in my trunk. I will put it back on".
"I clocked you doing 70 in a 65".
"I am not the droid you are looking for.", I replied.
"You are not the droid I am looking for.", she stated.
"I can go about my business."
"You may go about your business." She went on to add, "Move along, move along!"

Only problem I ever had with a front plate in Ohio.
