Yes, that's right. It's time the white car had her own set of shoes and not just Wasabi's hand me downs. Soooooooo...I have decided to sacrifice some ride comfort for vanity's sake and invest in some twinneeze. Below is how the car currently looks.

And here are three options I am looking into.

Top one, the wheels will look larger than the middle ones due to not having a lip.

First ones are too plain for such a nice car. I like the second ones personally. The Rovos are nice but the difference from front to rear looks off to me. That and everyone and their brother has them now.

2nd or 3rd. Think I am leaning more towards the last ones.

I just found this. Open the hyper link and Click the "KMC 685 silver with machined face" video for a better view of the wheel. Looks way different than the still photo they put up.

Needs to be more concave. I think if you are going for that style the 3rd weehls will look killer

What about this if the color matches the stripes close enough? Its a gunmetal spoke. Just not sure if I look the convex shaped spoke. Kind've makes it look like a front wheel drive wheel.

I hate cleaning the wheels with the rivets or bolts. They are a pain!
True Forge or CCW's would be nice but they are expensive!

matte gunmetal which will not disappear against the tire and hopefully match the stripe pretty closely??

The winner is tentatively the KMC District. Ordered them today and having one mounted up to try on the car for rear fitment so I can see how they will look and fit under the wheel well. Ordered the 20x10.5 7.52BS/+45mm offset, the same exact size and offset as the Vossen CV3 with a 305/30/20 on the back. 255/35/20's will be up front on 20x8.5's 6.13BS/+35mm offset.
Guess we will see. Just couldn't bring myself to do a dark wheel. Never cared for that look on my cars. I like to see a separation between wheel and tire. If KMC had offered the District in anything other than Bronze or Black I would have considered an anthracite or gunmetal however in a Satin finish.

Never thought of that, but yeah. I was looking for something similar to the CV3 pictured below. Wanted something a little different as well and not at the $650 price tag. Another guy on here is running the silver knock off version of the CV3 on his white 14 vert so I did not wish to mimic that look completely either. So hopefully this will work out nicely.
Wish I had thought ahead of time, I would have had the stripes done in bronze and gone with the bronze wheel they offer. But then again I still don't know if fitment is going to work or not. Definitely don't want the "Joe Dirt" effect going on with the wheels hanging out from under the wheel wells.

Word on the street is that the fronts aren't available in silver. That got me thinking in another direction....slightly. Same wheel different color scheme. I'd pull the black accent stripe altogether or replace it with a close matching accent stripe that would match this bronze version of the wheel. THOUGHTS?

the vossens are more, but i can help you out on those, i really like the vossens, had them on the 15 and my 13 boss

Vossen's aren't in my allotted budget Terry unless they are 50% off. They are beautiful wheels...but not $500+ a piece beautiful. $2000+the rubber is a stall converter AND a 5pt roll bar with money left over to go to Granny's house on. Thanks for the offer though.

Deal worked out today and what a deal it was. Talk about lucky. Went in to test fit the KMC wheels that i wanted to put on the car. Of course they still hung out too much for my liking. I looked over and saw this Bronze set of wheels on another Mustang and commented about wishing the KMC's would fit like those. I was asked if i liked them. What was not to like, aside from maybe the Bronze not working with mys stripes? Turns out they are a take off set that had 150 miles on them. I was told they were available. I agreed to see them on the car. Chris told me e would give me a deal on them. At the same time I saw they were Vossens. GULP! Oh boy! "We can repaint these to match the charcoal gray stripes on the car and finish them in Satin. That would look killer." I ended up getting the whole setup including 305-30-20 Nitto 555 G2's for the rear, and 255-35-20's for the front in a package deal that ended up only costing me $250 more than I was orignally going to pay for the KMC package. So the VFS 2 Vossens get painted Charcoal/Gray Metallic and Satin finished, and mated with the G2's next week and put on the car. WHAT A DEAL! Here is a photo of them in Bronze. They will be Charcoal Gray in Satin when they go on the car.

They are a little Euro-trash no doubt. If it had been a SN95, 05-09, or edge body I would have never gone for it. They really looked right on the car with tires on them and sitting on the car's weight. I would have never thought of them otherwise. Worst case I will sell them for what I have in them and put the tires on something else.

No idea Chris. I would not have chosen them either, until I saw them on the car. The Bronze was okay, but the charcoal will set the car off IMO.

Well CRAP! One of my hesitations of going with a 5 spoke Vossen Clone was so I wasn't copycatting WCKGT's setup. At least mine a different body style.

^^^ Thanks Brian. I hope so as well. They looked nice on the car in bronze though the color was a bit harsh for my taste. The color change will set the car off IMO. Plus with more spokes, eyefocus won't be diverted to the stock calipers and rotors which is a plus over the 5 spokes though they will be a little tougher to keep clean. Pics to come soon. Should be on the car next week.

I guess the younger generation would say, "I'm rollin on some twinnees now". Need to tweak the adj. panhard about a 1/4" to the drivers side. Car rides really nice. Actually rides as nice if not nicer than the 18's did. I was expecting a much harsher ride. I tried taking some photos yesterday but the evening sun was so harsh I could not get the lighting right. I'll post some up as soon as I can.
