Not bad on the price compared to other R modes that have popped up for sale recently

There was one running in True Street at the BG race.

The '95 one is the bastard child. You can usually find one with around 20k miles for $30k...sometimes as low as $27k. My uncle in Utah sold several of those back in '95. He said they had several with motor issues new, and they had to have their motors replaced by Ford before sold. Been awhile since I talked to him and I can not remember what the issue was, I just remember he said they ran really bad and the entire car would shake uncontrollably. That would be make me leary of one with 21 miles on it. But of course I would drive it, not let it sit and rot.

It's still 1 of 250 cars built.

I agree...I always wondered why they were the bastards. I did not care for the looks of the 2000 R and a few years ago I considered buying a 1995 as the 1993 R's are way out of my price range.

93's are my favorite. I didn't know about the 95 motor issues if you find out exactly what let us know just curious.

I've never heard of any engine troubles either. I love the look of the 95 Rs. The tan interior is horrible though. I know they expected most of them to have the interior gutted to be used for racing, but that ugly ass dash is still there!

I swear 2/3 of the SN95 cars out here were built with that hideous tan interior but back when they came out I wanted a dark green GT vert with the tan top and interior.....my tastes have certainly evolved.

I agree with both of you. My 96 was tan leather then tan and black dash. I much prefer black. Back then the tan interior didn't bother me at least the leather seats as did the two tone dash. But now I'd prefer black.
