I always wondered what the 2.7 Eco would do in a car. Maybe a lighter one than 4000 lb one but cool nonetheless.

Ford need to get their shit together when it comes to weight. My ST weighs over 3200#'s and that is for a fucking Focus......

I wonder what the RS focus weighs? My Volvo only weighs 3100lbs and I added 100lbs of parts to it

This and I wish they would of brought a four door RWD Falcon over here with a coyote in it. At least the Bronco is coming back. Hope it looks like the pics I've seen.

Agree. The Camaro used to weigh more than the Mustang; now the Camaro is nearly 200 lbs. lighter.

we've had a few in so far, not a bad little car
The mustang is due for a new model change in the next few years. I would bet the next gen one has a significant weight drop

article states that it weights 4100+...in pounds. There goes the extra 15 HP over the ecoboost stang. $34000.00 sticker price base on the Sport. Mustang ecoboost weighs 3500, has 310HP, and is $27000 for the automatic base model.
Aside from having kids and needing two additional doors I don't see the $7000 advantage. Ford may have well priced this car out of selling IMHO.
Nice looking car, just not $34000 nice looking. But like my father says about all of the newer Ford cars 13+..."They look like catfish in the front". I tend to agree, though I like the look of my 14.

It isn't competing against the mustang. Look at the prices of others in its market segment. It's well priced versus the A4, the Accord v6, Camry v6 and the maxima.
Also, while peak HP isn't much higher than the ecoboost mustang, it makes 380tq. Way more than the ecoboost mustang.

This and with this price don't see why they are still making the SHO. Even though I hear rebates are real good on the SHO. I wish the sport looked a little more aggressive.

It's a fly under the radar design. I have 15 Mazda 6 which weighs under 3300 lbs. It doesn't have the power this car has but I bet handling has to be much better. 4100 is a very heavy car in this segment and mpg is not very good. I passed up a 2.0 Turbo Fusion because it really didn't impress me anymore than Mazda 6 and mpg isn't as good as I hoped it would be. This fusion sport is getting closer to the type of daily driver I want.
