WTB: T56

Okay so it's finally time to bite the bullet and do this. My tr3650 has been makin a lil noise lately so it's time to go. Anyone have a t56 in good condition?

They are getting harder to find. Used to be able to find Cobra t56 transmissions easily. I think its a great route for you tho.

I do have the option of buying a promotion built tr3650 for 1400, I might just go that route. I dunno, always wanted to put a t56 in it and I already have the driveshaft for it too..

I Picked one up for a little over a year ago, found it on the terminator group on FB. Got a fairly good deal at 1200 for it and included driveshaft/cross member/shifter base and used clutch which I likely wont reuse. The plan now is I want to upgrade the input shaft before I install it. The 26 spline input shaft alone is getting stupid expensive.

Wish I could find a deal like that. I don't think I'd need the upgraded input shaft being my car won't be putting down anything serious power wise.

Yep, they are pretty scarce over there. Been keeping my eyes on the Terminator groups on FB too.

There is one on CL but he wants quite a bite. Don't know if he is flexible at all on the price.

That guy from zanesville said he was offered 1800 for just the trans, bell, and shifter.....

I'm wanting a stock t56, my car will never need something built like that. I'm not in a huge hurry so I'll just wait for the right deal.

I found his Facebook ad on the Ohio Terminator group. He wants 1600 for just the trans, no bell, no shifter, not even the clutch fork. I think that's too steep for a bone stock one when I can get an upgraded one WITH all those parts for $2k.
