View Full Version : Has anyone ever used a right angle oil filter adapter?

This is the one I'm talking about. The instructions say it points the filter forward, I was curious if you could point the filter down instead.

Ive used it but mine was pointed fwd and down. I think if you face it straight down, you have clearance issues with the power rack lines and K member.

Rick that's the one I just bought. Came out of Milwaukee. 80.00 to the house. Made my life easier.

Forward and down. Slightly on both. Clears everything beautifully

Rick, if u want one let me know. They came factory on every v8 explorer 5.0 made. I can get one from the pull n pay next time i go. I got you and I a v6 cam sensor too. It's here whenever you want it.

I'd think down would be fine if you have the clearance, not seeing why it'd have to face fwd.
