I was going to do a vortech supercharger, intercooler,e85 etc. Well, plans change. I sold off all of the supercharger components and decided to go an for 11.99 NA cobra. The car has 4.30 gears, long tubes, and your other typical mods. The car had 106100 comp cams in it, they never felt like enough. So I contacted Todd (Nasvt) and he spec'd me a set of cams, made me a short runner intake. Curious to see how this combo works out.

Day 1

Got the car at the shop pulled the hood to make it a little easier and not to make the same mistake as I did last time ( story for another day).

Got the intake off

Cams out etc

Went to put the new valve springs in with the ford tool. Major pain in the ass let me tell you. This simple tool I found watching YouTube saved the day.

Got the cams and valve springs in and time for the degree process. Um well... After wasting a weekend and not accomplishing a thing made a call to Nasvt and begged him to degree the cams in for me

Got the car back Sunday and thrashed getting it back together. At 1900 tonight it was time to put some fire back into the yellow turd. She did not want to stay running to save her life. Turned the throttle body screw a hair and she would idle at 1000 rpm. Here is where it is right now.

After a little tuning from Mike I am sure she will sound a little nastier.

Click on the little picture of the back bumper for the video. Its gonna sound good once the idle comes down where it should be.

Cant wait to see it in person and hear it. Should run real good Id think.
