So rumors, stories, pics, and vids of a possible 2018 Bullitt. So here is my guess.... Yes they will make one. Power train they will use the gt 350 5.2 block, heads, cams (maybe a little tamer?) with Coyote crank for 475-500 hp. Tranny will be the upcoming 10 spd auto and a decent tremec manual tranny. I think Dale might get another new Mustang in a year or two.....:cool1:

Hey Dale! First I've heard about this car. But being Ford I would say it will likely have an MT-82 Getrag in it. Doubt anything shy of a Shelby badged Mustang will ever again see a Tremec. But the 10speed auto sounds promising if its a next gen of the 6R80 which has proved itself. As for engine, I would hesitate a guess at sticking with a 5.0 and doing some head work (def cam upgrade) to it along with maybe an intake mod. They already have a green color available that would satisfy for exterior look, delete the rear spoiler and mount 20" deep dish bullit wheels in place.

Saw spy pics of a supposed upcoming Mach 1 the other day. Had a big ass splitter up front.

How many times can you remake a car like the Bullitt....

I'm going to lean towards a Mach 1. Bullitt and Boss have been more recent and have heard rumors of a Mach. It will prolly be a 5.0 with head work or different cams. Shaker manual and auto options. Wonder if 4.10s would be an option.

I personally don't care what they call it. The next Mustang I own will be a special model not a GT. Maybe a Shelby, Cobra, Mach etc. I should be ready for something like this in 18. I have always liked the way Ford differed from the standard GT to the special models. I thought the upgrades were tasteful and done well.
