Rib City above Hooters @ RT4 Springdale - And we're arriving uninvited in Stangbangerz style!!!

This is a rain or shine event. Look forward to seeing everyone there right next to the Hooters where it all began over a decade ago.

Won't make it, took the Harley off road on Friday, near Brookvile, Ind. Bike ended up about 50 ft. off the road and I was about 60 ft. off the road.
Went through one fence on the way. A little sore today. Don't remember what happen, til I was being put on the backboard. I' ll make it..... but drivings is out of the question.

Last year we tried it and they wasn't quite ready for a decent sized group so the service wasn't real good.

I AM OFFICIALLY TAKING RETIREMENT. I'm tired of doing it to be honest and for no other reason. Don't read into it.. For whoever takes it over, it can be as elaborate or as simple as you wish it to be. Last year I started taking the approach of simply picking a place, setting a date, setting a time and posting it up. I never got permission from the places I chose in 2016. I chose to approach the cruise ins last year from a concept of party crashing. Simply show up and drop in on the place. Whoever chooses to set it up from this point forward can go that way or put a ton of effort into it. Previous years when I would notify the place/get permission they would staff up to support the added patronage. Problem with that was 5-10 cars would show up leaving a lot of servers holding the bag, when they could have been at home with their families enjoying the day. That bothered me because I value my time off as much as anyone.

First or second weekend of May would be a great time for the planner to set it up IMHO. Just take some time to look at area events that would conflict, and look at extended forecasts on weather channel. Looking forward to a nice 2017 season. YAY!

Well of course. I'll be anywhere I can to support the events that my schedule allows. It's not like I'm going out and buying a Corvette! Like that would ever happen. I'd sooner stab my eyes out with a stick or be seen in a Yugo. LOL!
