Well guys I've kept the car for a long time waiting to see if I would regain interest in it, and I haven't. Many of you have seen the car years ago, but I'll give a short list of what comes with it. To be clear, I'm selling the car, and all the parts and pieces that are associated with it. I'm not interested in parting things out, I want to sell everything to one person and clean the garage out. The car was taken apart years ago to have the cage installed, and make more power, it never went back together, but the majority of things are there, im sure there will be some odds and ends that are missing.

The body is a 88 GT vert that is Candy red over silver, the door handles and trunk lock are shaved, it has a fiberglass deck, hood and Cervini stalker front end. The front end does have some fiberglass damage that will need repaired/repainted. It will come with a mostly complete black interior.

The engine is a 331 Eagle kit with upgraded pistons in a Boss 302 block, heavily ported twisted wedge heads, Vortech Mondo intake/intercooler with a ported Systemaxx lower, and a Vortech YSI blower and Kooks headers.

The transmission is a Lentech AOD, I forget what converter, but the tranny is rated for 1200 hp.

I bought a brand new Fast system for it, which has never been installed, it comes with the Fast distributor also.

The rearend is an 8.8 with 3.55's and a spool with 31 spline moser axles and c-clip eliminators.

The fuel system is -8 feed, -6 return. Aeromotive regulator and rails with a large Barry Grant pump.

Suspension is QA1 K-member, Flaming River Rack, Tubular A arms, etc.

I'm asking $10,000 for the car as it sits. The car should be capable of low 9's to high 8's when completed. I have a lot more invested than I'm asking, but it's time for me to move on. I'll try to get some pics up in the next couple of days. I'm not hurting for money, so please, no tire kickers. If you are serious about purchasing, feel free to ask questions.

Thanks

Also, there are a lot of small details I didn't mention, cam, link bar lifters, rockers, oil pan, timing chain etc that I didnt mention, but it comes with most things required to put it together.

It is truly a sad day.
Good luck with sale. Sorry to see it go.

Don't forget to put some pics up. They will not be able to appreciate what you are offering, without them.

Thanks guy's. I'm not interested in trades, I'm only interested in selling out. With the car sold and the garage cleared out, that will allow me to move a few pieces around the board.

Don't know how much your on FB. Seems like there are a fair number of cars that move and buyers with $, in the "turbobullet.com parts" group and the "grudge racing cars and parts midwest" groups. I think both are closed groups, just have to ask for an invite.

Thanks, I may look into that. I figured I would offer it locally first. If I don't get much interest then I'll look into other options.

Hate to see the last of the original midnight mafia cars go. Totally understand the way you feel though, sometimes these cars seem like nothing but one big expensive headache! Hope you change your mind, but good luck if you don't.

Times change man. Sometimes I miss mine, but for the most part, I don't.

Harrumph!! I really don't miss it, but it used to be a whole lot of fun.

If anyone wants to see pics of the various parts just let me know. I'll even move the price down to $9500.

I called everyone on the board and asked them not to buy it, so you would be forced to put it together and make a couple of passes. =)

I don't think that will work.
I'm thinking this may be some kind of cry for help or something, listing the car for sale.

We know you have no desire to work on it.
That's plainly obvious.
We're talking about our amusement here, you just have the facilities and the vehicle.
