Posting a picture

I guess the site has changed. I used to be able to post a picture, but now I can't seem to be able to. How do I do it?

Nothing has changed in a long time. All those attachments require a lot of storage space which cost money so to help keep the costs down we have disabled the ability to attach pictures. You will need to host the picture through a service like Photobucket.

Must be pre 2008. Because I have always had to use photobucket to post img file links. Even learned it from a thread on here somewhere. Eazy-peezy-japaneeze!

maybe wifey can show me how to do it. I haven't a clue what Photobucket is or how to use it.

create an account, upload photos, go to library, select photo, click on IMG link which then copies link to your clipboard, then paste into a thread started here. Simpler than it sounds.

Try Photobucket, Etc ... Upload pics, copy IMG link and post to here ...

Thanks for that link mista! Just registered there myself. Like you I am getting tired of the adverts slowing the site down and cluttering it.

A little more secure as well, harder for someone to snoop through all your pics. I'd move all my pics off PB but a few are used for tech articles for a main forum I'm on.
