Well I finally got some time to work on my own car and found a different carb mod. Gave it a try and finally its adding the fuel like its supposed to. It actually went so pig rich today on a quick test drive it went off the scale. Now I can start lowering the jet sizes and dial it in. I dont think I will be able to come down and make any passes but good luck to those that do.

Actually, that is incorrect. After this weekend, there list is locked until next year. This is the drawing for prize money for those left on the list at the end of the night. Anyone on the list is game, if you aren't there to defend, then remember next year to mark the date. We did this about 6 weeks in advance, next year it will be 2.5 months in advance so no one has any excuses unless their work makes them leave or family emergency, etc.

There's 2 lists, the DD et list is full with Cameron at #12 but if you look at the DD challenge list the #12 spot is empty as last edited by the Dozen Master 10/10/15 (unless I missed something)...so maybe that's the list 'ole Jim can come down in the vette and shake things up a bit....

I believe it's faster now with 2.7 upper after running Tommy. I just haven't brought it back to the track yet. I wonder how many times you can run under a 11.5 before they boot you without a cage?

Sorry to hear about your cars redfirepearlgt and USMCPONY... I had a good time last night even though I only met a couple of the crew, ended up watching more racing than meeting people... seen some sweet rides, the racing was killer and the weather wasn't bad

Great night last night, even with some of the track issues and broken cars. I love talking and hanging out with everyone, my cars PB last night of 10.124 @ 133.59 w/ a 1.455 - 60'. I'm having major rear suspension issues with the car so that is next on the list to take care of.

Yeah I'm pretty bummed about it. I really wanted to race for a spot. I think I lifted the heads. Coolant is all over the place. Ended up running a 10.4 @ 103mph. The car completely shut off around the 800-900' mark.

I actually got a 1.60 60' too. Allot better than my first run with a 2.3. Track was terrible imo but was still fun.

got my best in the 15 so far 9.31@148, 1.48 60', car would be going 1.3's all day and close to an 8 at any nmra prepped track....

IWRBB I think is his screen name has a nice caged set up. 10 rib and I think it uses the Metco pulleys. Not sure where he got it though.

Mine was done by a guy who did a run of about 15 of them custom. He's not doing them anymore. Mine was crazy expensive with the custom 6 pin drive and 10 rib pulley, but I'm glad I bought it when it was available.

There's been a couple posts recently over on SVTP with guys making their own custom caged lower setups. The most recent made his own pulley ring and press fit it to a cut down stock lower pulley.

PKFire- You should be fine running the Metco setup on an Eaton. I've not really heard of any failures in that configuration. It's generally the bigger blowers that tear up the crank. Then again, Ford didn't just put it on there for the fun of it.

That's what I'm hearing, I go back and forth about getting one.
