Haven't been on for a while and don't own a Mustang any more. Even my son traded off the Coupe I gave to him for a Corvette. Anyhow below is my new toy and I absolutely love it.

Tell us about it? I'm not familiar with them but it looks like it has a ground effects package. Is it an SS model or something?

I'm getting pretty old Aaron so I opted for the auto. And for everyones info it is an SS made in Australia for Chevy. LS3 motor with 415hp and 415tq. Magnetic ride like the Corvette and rear wheel drive. Loaded with everything including parallel and perpendicular parking without touching the steering wheel. Supposedly does 12.8 in the quarter. Not bad for a luxury sleeper with the same chrome wheel spare (for the front)....tires are staggered. Nice review below

Roughly 2,500 a year is shipped here to the states. I'm hearing 2016 models will be the 3rd and last year of production.

My friend had a Pontiac G8 GXP and that thing was bad to the bone!! We were taking corners doing almost 80. It was the wildest ride I've been in for a stock car in a long time. His was the 6 speed too.

Most people don't know that the SS is based off the Holden built G8 GXP, in 2008 and 2009 I believe. It was badass for sure but the SS even more so.

I can imagine! I hear the SS has a real sweet heads up display too. I would imagine the brakes are also just as big as the G8 GXP's were. What a machine.

Yep, heads up display and Bremo brakes front and rear. 14" in front and 14.4 rear.....MASSIVE :D

Same platform as the Chevy Caprice, which can only be had as a police car. We have four of them here at the PD. The police car is a little longer which gives it the biggest back seat of all the cruisers, SUV's included. They are pulling out of Australia in 2017. GM will not tell us their plans for the Caprice in the future, but I have to believe they will produce them here in the U.S. I drive a Tahoe daily (which is much easier with all the gear), but I love driving the Caprice! They are awesome on the pursuit course!

Yep, the SS will only be built for 3 years, 2016 being the last model with some minor changes.
