Looking for a SN95 cowl hood that uses the factory hinges around 3" or so. Anyone have one laying around before I buy one?

But it don't look like the hood was hurt to bad!
I had a 4 inch Cincinnati Composites hood years ago that flew up and mangled all kinds of shit but barely chipped the hood. I hate hood pins but I will run them from now on, on any hood I buy.

Hood pins are a given for a fiberglass hood. Wouldn't run one without em. I was in my buddy's car once years ago and you could just see his hood flexing in the wind without pins. No sir.

I've had two Cervinis hoods now and neither have had pins. Had both cars at triple digits and they looked perfectly fine. If there was any kind of play I would've added some aero catch pins to mine.

Stock hoods, not so much. They seem to be built a little heavier. It just makes me nervous!

At the rate youre going thru hoods why not! LOL
I believe the factory hoods have larger metal inserts where the hoods latch. Which is why you normally don't need pins.

Had a steel cowl hood fly up on my convertible after leaving work one day. Co-worker thought it would be funny to unpin it. Lucky for me it didn't smash through the windshield. Not sure how it didn't.
Got him back when I "accidentally" set his coveralls on fire and melted his shoes to a railroad track we were cutting.

It didn't cause as much damage as I had thought when it happened. I threatened him with a ball peen hammer when I got back to the shop.
