2000 Mustang gt rebuilt title, cloth seats, 5 spd, 7" pop up cd player, mach 1 grill and front splitter. I think has 99k if not its pretty close. Car has been sitting for 8 months. Went to start it and it won't stay started. I think it has a bad head gasket. 5134843040

Not sure. It was like that when I bought it. I needed a daily driver and it drove like a brand new car so I bought it.

It has the mach 1 chin spoiler and Cervini's stalker rear bumper.

The rear bumper cover appears to be a Silk Auto Whisper rear bumper.

$2,800 will take it home. I've seen motors for $600 online. For 3400 and a little effort. You could hand a descent daily driver.

What makes you think it's a bad head gasket? They have MLS gaskets from the factory which don't really fail.

Went to start it up and it was idling weird. I saw water dripping from the back of the motor up against the fire wall. I can't tell exactly where. We even used a mirror. Id personally just replace the entire motor. That would be the safest route imo. I saw a few 60k mile motors for $600. I wish I would of bought one. I haven't looked since then.

Look at the backside of the intake manifold. They like to break where the heater hose connects to the rear passenger side of the manifold. VERY common occurrence. And a simple $150 fix.

It could be that. The intake is blocking my view. Id fix it if I had the time.

Will it stay running of you hold the throttle open?
