Looking for efi mass air harness. I know there's a difference in them but don't know what they are for sure other than fuel pump relay location. I'm putting it in a car that has no harness , last time I did this it didn't work so well for me. But I refuse to give up, gonna try it again. Any info/help would be appreciated also. Thanks all

Jason if I remember right you want any 89 harness or an '88 California harness. It should be a direct plug in for your '86. It has been awhile since I owned my '86, but I am pretty sure that is correct. I am sure someone will chime in to confirm.

It's going in an 89 car. The 86 I did the conversion. Worked WELL. this car has no harness in it. Last time I put a mass air harness in a none mass air car I had intermittent no start condition. Didn't work to we'll for me. Lol

lol...that would suck. With an '89 you wouldn't have to worry about any air bag junk like the 90 and up cars.

You really need an 88 California or 89 to go in an 89 car, dash plug ,driver side are different once air bags go in, to get total plug and play. Fuel pump relays are on engine harness for 92-93 years
