Parting out 98 Ford Explorer 5.0 auto

I just picked up a 98 Ford Explorer that I will be parting out. It still has a few good parts body wise. The motor runs and it drives but the tranny slips. Brakes don't work either. All interior is there but not perfect.

Hit me up if you need any parts. Im not sure what all could be used Mustang wise.

Does it have the IRS or is it SRA ???

Will do. I know where a set of P heads are and cobra intake is if your in need. The heads are fresh.

Guy backed out on buying the motor. Gave me $50 and now he cant buy it. $350 for the complete motor. Ran good when I pulled it. It does have 231K miles on it. It is a 97 with the 3 bar GT40 heads.

This has a lot of good parts yet left on it if anyone needs anything. Front fenders are nice, both front doors are nice and not rusted, good glass, transfer case, slipping automatic and torque converter, front differential and all suspension, interior is ok, radio works and has a 6 disc changer in the center console.

Rear end is an 8.8 with 31 spline carrier and 3.73 gear and disc brakes. Its supposed to be sold but I don't have any cash in hand yet. Same with the mirrors and front seats.

I'd like the engine Brian. You sure it's a 97 and not a 98? I want another gt40 engine to have on hand and rebuild.

Yep 97 for sure. 3 bar heads. I can text pictures if needed.

And I can throw in the fox accy. brackets and pan if needed. I think I have a stock flywheel and balancer too.

I still have everything for it. Only reason I pulled it was because a guy came by and put $50 down on it after hearing it run then was to come back and pay the rest. I pulled it Sunday and at 6:00 he was heading home to get the money, at 6:45 he couldn't buy it cause his truck caught on fire.... If it wasn't for that, it would still be in and running.

I have everything here for it. All the front accessories, TB and so on. Just removed it since most people want the mustang swap stuff.

I'll be around all weekend.
