I am in need of a set of shorty headers for the GT40P heads.

Bbk shorties are pretty cheap and clear really well

I just changed my heads from Ps to aluminum heads. I have a set of Ford Racing P specific shorty headers (They worked great). They are on the car now and in really good shape. I would want to trade for a nice set of long tube, really nice set of shortys, or get enough money out of them for a nice set.

I will look into the BBK shorties, Thanks. My plan is to turbo the car so the headers will eventually be going to be flipped around backwards so I am not even sure I will need P specific headers or not.

BBK headers work fine, just buy spark plug wires with 90* boot ends at the head side also.

You really only have to use one 90 degree boot on cylinder 5 or 6 can't remember which one off the top of my head
