So a friend of mine is building a 4 eyed car and will be going with larger wheels when its done. He found some fenders in the junkyard and one of them was a little rough. But 91-93 fenders aren't as easy to find like they used to be. So, whats a guy to do when you cant find another one without buying a crap aftermarket?
You just sacrifice another junk fender to make 1 nice one.
you can see the lower section of the red fender was rusted out at the flange pretty good.

Drilled out all the spot welds on the red fender to be saved, then cleaned up the areas to be welded. Hammer and dolly'd the area to get it flat again after prying the old flange off as well.

Took the white flange and drilled all the spot welds out of it gently so I didnt drill thru the piece I intended to save

Ground the white flange down and removed the rust and debris from drilling, also this piece was a little bent so I had to hammer and dolly it until it was straight enough to test fit.
Got it all clamped up and made sure I could fit an appropriately sized screwdriver into the alignment dowel holes before and after it was clamped.

Welded it all up. The very front top went a little wonky on the weld. I had to fill a hole because the white flange wasnt complete where it makes the turn towards the underhood side so I had to make due in order to mate it to the original section of the red original flange that I did not cut out since I didnt have that end on the new piece.

Ground all the welds down and hit it with some primer sealer to keep it from rusting until the car is in it's body/paint stage.
