Last year my buddy's turbo car started having issues first a rocker stud backed out then it started to break up when it got above 12psi but the bs3 showed a perfect afr so we started tracking down issues. I started tearing down the motor and found a little coolant in the oil from seeping head studs and then this carnage arose

That sucks! I think I saw this picture over on FB.
Figure out what caused it?

I'm not up to par on turbo motors but as soon as it broke up he let out of it and we data logged a pull and all the way to the point it stated to break up everything looked good so I put a new set of plugs in it closed the gap a little and it ran better but he leaned on it a little too hard Thats when it started tapping. I did notice on the last pull the fuel pressure pegged at 100psi until the motor was shut down

It might be of it wasn't such a PITA to get out and considering how many miles have been put on it and a ramen noodle budget. But life goes on new pistons are on order they are really thin where the valve relief is.
