Got my wife a set of saleen knock offs for her vert for her birthday. The didn't have any tires on them, so I'm looking to see what some of you guys are running on your SN's. I want something huge on the back since these cars swallow up tires like nothing in the back wheelwells. I want something that won't rub up front. Let me know what you are running. Def not too low profile, want some sidewall.

just purchased 245-40 18x8 frts and 275-35 18 10.5 rears haven't put them on yet lol!
on a new edge .
they recommend same size for the s/n , I think you can go up to a 315-35 18.
I couldn't find anything in a taller sidewall, 18 or bigger are all kinda short unless you go with a light truck tire.

I'd go with 255/40 fronts and 295/35 rears.

The 245/40R18 front and 285/35R18 is about the closest you can get to the stock height.
Seems to be 265 is the widest front tire you can safely go. 275s seem to be hit or miss but most people run them with slight rubbing at full lock.
Same goes for a 315-335 rear. Some people just have to flip/remove the quad shocks others need spacers depending on the offset.
Like Chris said though, I'd go with at least 295/35 if I had it to do over to help fill the wheel well a little more.
Where did you get 10.5 Saleens?

I found them on ebay, they were used chrome ones, not in perfect shape(the woman posted misleading pics, but oh well I got what I paid for), 18X9 fronts and 18X10.5 rears. Same ones I had on my vert back in the day. Drove to Indy to pick them up and visit a buddy in the same trip.
You fell off the earth, you were supposed to stop by and hadn't seen you since, stop by sometime.

Lol yeah sorry about that. I get into a funk in the winter just seeing my car and not being able to do anything with it. Plus for the last 7 weeks I've had 3 days off work. Once things settle down I'll make sure to stop by.
