Like new Strange 10 way struts. Not even 20 miles on them. They WILL NOT work on MM caster camber plates or anything with a spherical bushing. Apparently they work great on Hotchkiss, team Z, stock plates and a few others. Really wanted to use these but they just won't work on my application. Only markings are from where I tightened down the spindle bolts and a couple scratches on the bottom from where I laid them on the concrete. Still under warranty but I'd rather not deal with the hassle of mailing them back to Summit.
$200 obo.

I'm not sure what's going on there but they should work with mm camber plates . I have strange struts with old d&d camber plates that look identical to the mm plates . I also have seen other cars with the mm plates and strange struts .

I'm not sure either but the OD of the strut is .010"smaller than the ID of the MM bearing. Quite a few people have been having the same issue. They clunked when I had them in and stopped when I put my old Tokicos in. My buddy has them in a Fox with Team Z plates and has no issues at all. So far it seems to be mainly with MM.

The cars I have seen are drag cars with all rod ends in the suspension and are very noisey cars so they probably would not notice. I have some mm plates to put on my street stang so I'll have to pay attention to that when I get around to installing them . Glws.

Do me a favor so I dont run into the same issue.... whats the diameter of them? I'll measure my fox when I get home or atleast sometime this week. Interested in them. 1 more piece of my foxbody puzzle!

Strut shaft measures .621"
Hopefully they'll work for you. I'm pretty bummed about their incompatibility with MM plates but they seem to be the only ones people are having issues with.

Really? That's odd. I've heard of people wrapping electrical tape around the strut so it quiets them down. I wonder if they had a design change recently in the plates and/or struts?
