So this was posted on a facebook group I'm in... and I got to looking at the plates.... Ohio plates from Butler County....
I know some of you guys on here are mopar nuts... like Leroy93lx... and I'm a closet old mopar fan myself.
Story is the family bought it new for their daughter then some years later they all got in trouble for hoarding cats and dogs... then disappeared. Car has been sitting for something like 25 years!! But has wood blocks under it from what the post said... still... would be cool to get one's grubby hands on!!

Yep , I would save it right now if its still there and they wanted some cash. As original as it appears (except the Go Wing) I would guess the fender tag and broadcast sheet are still on it. Even if its a basket case its worth trying to save

Supposedly nobody can find the owners. But I'd say its still there considering the snow in the pictures. It was just posted this morning.

Is a 340 in a Cuda really that rare?

If that car is truly a 1 owner , numbers matching 340 70 Cuda it is desirable. Its rarity isn't the appeal really, it is the collectability that makes it so sought after. If it were a 71 it would be even more wanted just because of the grille and fender gills. If the property is abandoned it would be worth looking into sheriff auctions to see if it could be bought in a tax sale. If someone could figure out what kind of gas station that is in the background it could probably be found on google earth. Butler county can't be that big!

That car is in west union beside the super america on the hill, the owners did get into a bunch of trouble over all the dogs and cats that were in the home

Haha sorry Jason!! The good thing about this one is I'm not super pressed to go buy it! It would be nice to see it saved though.
I know where it is now though! I've been by there a bunch if it's in West Union. Probably saw it and didn't even realize it.

Ok. I think back by Nichols Street is where it is. If I can get my head fixed up soon, I may take a ride down and see if I can find it. Unless Jason goes and checks it out first.

I would buy this in a heart beat, grew up around the Mopar seen, it's what got me started into messing with cars to begin with.
My dad had a 1974 Dodge Challenger w/ a 413 Wedge before he passed away 9 years ago.

Crazy... cant believe I havent seen it then.... There used to be a white '70 Challenger sitting next to some pine trees for YEARS. Looked identical to the car in vanishing point. Didnt go to west union for a while, came back, and the house and trees were gone and a bank was in its spot.... dunno whatever happened to the Challenger.

Kinda sound like my buddy's uncle who has a 69 Road Runner rotting away behind his garage. Both my buddy and his dad have been trying to buy it for years but he would never sell it. Kept saying he's "going to fix it up someday". Sadly it's too far gone now to save.

No Brian, it was blue with the white vinyl top.

Ok. I met a younger guy a while back at Tristate with a purple one. Maybe it was at a Street Car Shootout... Cant remember.

The go wing is original for 70, after mid year they started offering those as an option. In 71 they changed it from the ford style to a gull wing spoiler, and they were available thru 72. I used to own a mopar specialty restoration company from 83 til 92. I've owned or restored hundreds of these things. I miss them, they used to be so cheap and plentiful, now you never see one.

Yeah my dads 70 Cuda had one of the ugly bastards on it. I didn't think about it because I don't care for them I guess. The shaker and a hemi made it look better

Oh God yeah! I agree. I am partial to the 71 spoilers myself. I had a 71 cuda that I put a hemi in, had factory billboards, shaker, leather, 4 spd, gull wing, all the chrome moldings, 15" rallye's, rubber bumpers, etc. It was optioned out with two data plates. Original 340 car. I put the hemi in, found it covered with laundry soap in a guy's garage next to his washer machine. I bought it and went through it, put it in my cuda with mickey mouse mounts from a guy that made them in cali. Good memories.
