What kind of spark plugs would you recommend? Truck just hit 82k miles and now it is starting to backfire under hard excelleration so I think I have a broken plug. How hard are these plugs to change? I know I will get the kit to get the plugs out but do not want this to happen again!
Thanks in advance for the advice,
Rodney

just did mine on SGT 90k miles, only 2 of mine broke. when I worked at ford one of the tech told me to take them out with a impact, the intial hit will keep them from breaking. I replaced mine w the new MSD iridium plugs

We do a heavy induction service prior to trying to take them out. Then a 3/8 snap on cordless impact smack trigger a few times. We have had great sucess with this method and has took break down a ton.
