Do I A.) Keep the 98 Cobra and put a Kennebell on it and have a fun street cruiser. B.) Sell it and buy a 2015. Either way the decision will be made in the spring.

Keep the 98 but do a c head swap and go with a Whipple. I've seen too many KB'd B headed Cobras not makin much hp for the money involved.

And then trade me wheels. Hahaha

Keep that awesome car. I agree with Brian, I'm not sure how I feel about the '15 yet. I always hear people say Damn! I should've kept that car.

Thanks for the comments. It is a hard decision. I love my 98 but it needs more.

$5000 for blower and mods compared to $35,000!! And in the end, its still just a GT.

Eric - I wouldn't do it man. Your car is so cool it drips coolness. Some cars leak fluids...your car leaks coolness. The 2015 still has the Getrag MT-82. If you do make the bad decision to get one go with the automatic. And remember this. The first change you make to the car Ford voids warranty. And yes they can tell even if you only do a CAI and tune and then flash it back. Second the internals are still powdered metal. HP wise the concensus is that above 600 HP the stock internals tend to fail much , much faster. Third like so many others I hate the direction in styling Ford has gone with the car. Its like they hired a bunch or Brits to clone the Astin Martin. Room wise you will suffer as well. Adragon went and looked at newer Mustangs and found he couldn't fit well in one. Like you he is a much bigger framed guy. Make sure you are comfortable in that car and/or they sell extension kits for the seat rails like you have on the 98 before buying. MY ONE POSITIVE ON THE 2015. ITS AVAILABLE IN YELLOW.

Oh and don't deal with Lebanon Ford. Most of them are great people there. But one of the Gen Mgr's there is quite the sharkster. Likes to low ball the crap out of your trade and gets pissed when you catch him doing it. I can elaborate more about our experience with him personally via phone or PM if you are interested. BUT Buyer Beware!

Stick with that beautiful 98 cobra with the forged internals. Put the KB on it, crank up the boost on that meat grinder and lets see that beautiful yellow car scream to life even more than it does right now.

SIDE NOTE - Hope things have gotten better since we last talked at the cruise in. Don't elaborate here. Take care man.

I miss my 98 cobras. I had 3 different ones over the years. Two had power adders. Paxton novi 2k and the other one was turbo. I would love to see someone add c heads and a twin screw to one of these cars. It would be pretty unique and fun on the street.

Keep the cobra and add a centrifical supercharger. The KB for the 96-98 cobras kinda sucks at life lol.

My vote is 2015. The cobra is cool, but I'm a big fan of the new style and I'm tired of messing with older cars at the moment.
