so as some of you knew i was having cooling issues. Me and dad got the new triple core rad in. Took us about 30min to get done not including filling. Still runs a little warm. Gona change thermostat and see if there is a air pocket in it. But looks good if i dont say so myself.

What can i do with thr breather on the vc on driver side? Its ugly as heck and dont like it.

Thanks for the offer but the wife would kill me if I got rid of the Cobra! Especially having 2 fox bodies that we can't drive!
As far as the breather, I'd get one of the filter breathers. They don't look bad. I had one laying around so I'll see if I can find it for ya.

Ford Racing use to make a breather one with a chrome cover and their logo. Here is a couple I found...

joe2340
11-13-2014, 09:25 PM

11-14-2014, 12:33 AM
Yeah it would be good to know exactly what it is. You still have access to the guy who did all the work? Does it have stock heads right now?
Basically you need to know if the pistons are for a traditional inline valve head or twisted wedge.

Heads now are e7s. I have tried to contact him but have not heard back. Sorry guys im not much help. Im lost on thid stuff. And from everything i read a 331 and stock heads im losing all thr power i could be making. Can i run gt40s for now to get some gain?
CNTLOSE
11-14-2014, 09:07 AM
GT40 heads would be an improvement, and the cheaper way to go for now. Are you going to do the work or have a shop do it?
joe2340
11-14-2014, 09:32 AM
Well i do believe im gona go gt40 for now just to get the more power and later on figure out what i want to do. Id like to go charger some day so. I will do work all myself. Now i know there is differnt types of gt40s. And someone said you need special headers for them? Also would i need special rockers/springs? I know i have roller lifters.

11-14-2014, 09:45 AM
