Decided to drop to an 82mm pulley / 90mm idler combo on the old meat grinder today and uploaded the accomodating tune from VMP tuning. Branden ran the datalogs on the car after the swap out and a base line pull that yielded 486/430 at the wheels. Once the datalogs were reviewed and all looked good we poured the coal to Oscar and produced 568/522 with A/F staying at or below 11.7 WOT. Driveability is great. Now if only the Git rag MT-82 doesn't throw up a fortune cookie before I get the money set back to do a T56 Magnum XL swap out some day.

Very nice Chad !! You've got me thinking about an 82 MM pulley now !!
With that HP number, you might be knocking on the 10.99 door !!!!

Not sure Shannon. Too wet to be able to get on it any on the way back. Will find out tomorrow on some dry pavement. If not it will be time to trade for a 13 auto or trade the whole thing on the 18K unmolested 05 mystichrome one owner I just found...if they still have it.

Probably a BAP, 79mm, and CAI. I'm more than happy with it as it sits. Thanks man. Probably right. That gitrag may clunk but its holding up so far.

Thanks guys. Just got back from an 8 hour round trip and the car runs now like a raped ape. The issues I was having were all clearly over engineering on the part of Roush Performance. I'd never buy anything but a tuner package from them again. Lesson learned. I opened the car up on highway 50 just west of Versailles on a long straight stretch. I slowed down to a stop. NO one was around. Prayed for no cops and nailed it. The car car to life like I never imagined. It went through the gears with no hestiation. By the time I hit fifth (that's my one-one ratio) I was doing 140+ and Oscar just wanted to keep going. MPG is also up by over 2 mile per gallon. Driving temps and even WOT temps are down due to Justins fan control strategies. I will be looking into a lower thermostat and upgraded fan for it next spring. Hopefully I can get another year or so out of the existing tranny. Meanwhile I will be keeping my eyes peeled either for a spare Gitrag, or start saving for a tremec swap out. Thought about going with a 3650 5 speed witha 26 spline input shaft upgrade and rework. After all who needs more than a five speed manual for anything but a semi? LOL!

I will check the car, but I remember placing it right back on the shelf with the charger where you got it from.

And yes USMC Pony - I hope for 11.50 and no faster. I'll take that all day long.

thanks Mike. Going to E20 hopefully this Friday if the weather holds and make a pass or two hoping the Getrag MT-82 will handle the power with DR's on the back.
