Today I picked up a 2001 Expedition. It's in pretty good shape. It has an exhaust leak. I think it may be the passenger side exhaust manifold gasket. I know it's a common problem. And I know it's a tough job. Sooo any takers? I don't have time to tackle something like that. Anyway here's a pic.

Yeah 5.4 and 4x4 so no more Cobra in the snow and rain. That's huge relief. It's very clean inside. Ill try to get some pics tomorrow.

I've done several. Piece of cake, take fender well out, you can get right to everything. Or bring it up here , I'll be happy to do it.

Is easy until 2 or 3 studs break off in the head and u can't weld another bolt to them or an easy out won't work to extract them I've done a few so far none have been easy!

Hell yeah it does. I still have to get it registered in my name though. I'm going to call the dmv tomorrow and see what it's going to cost me. And make a call to my insurance first thing in the a.m. I probably could've got it cheaper but I was being rushed by you know who. It's in great shape inside. Smells funny but I can deal with that for now. After I get the exhaust manifold fixed ill be happier about it.

The cobra is sitting next to it. Unless you went by while I was at the store or in the back working on the cobra.

Oh, I must've missed it I was coming from krogers and turned at udf. The expedition would look awesome with blacked out every thing like the cobra...

Hit those manifold bolts with some PB Blaster for about a week or 2. Was scared to touch the ones on my 87 F350...all original under the hood and a lot of rust! Carried a can with me and whenever I would shut my truck off, pop the hood and hit those bolts while they were hot. Had no problems getting them out, a few were on the verge of rotting away.

Yeah some of the bolts are rusting away. I don't have the time to do it myself so ill probably have someone do it.
