Catback System For Cobra With Irs (Bassani I believe) Cheap

I've got a great sounding cat back system that came off my 04 cobra not sure brand but sounded great just went another route. Was told it's Bassani and does have the big Bassani tips on it so it might be but don't really see any stampings on the muffler itself. $150 bucks takes it can text pics!! Could use cleaned up before putting back on it your concerned with it.

My Bassani doesnt have any markings on the mufflers either. The tips should say Bassani on them though.

Long story short Jegs put the screws to me on a shipping date so I canceled my order with them and I had to clean up this exhaust and put it back on car until I figured out something. Anyways get home from work yesterday and there sits the new catback from jegs that they were suppose to cancel and credit my card back so now not sure what to do. They said I can return the new flowmaster cat back if wanted.

Ok. Doubt I will decide anything tonight on what route to go now. Another thing I have been pondering on is these bassani mufflers are small and I just lowered this thing pretty low and getting in and out of my drive is a little rough, people have said the flowmaster are so large they catch and hit everything that they have switched over to these smaller mufflers and now have no issues. So I'm wondering if I shouldn't just keep this stuff on the car at this point.

How low are ya with what set up? I cut one coil off with rear isos n and only the upper n front. It's low!!

Here is a pic of mine. I think they sit about the same. My Bassani rubs on speed bumps and curb humps if I hit them head on.

My sits pretty close to Chris's car. I'm not sure what springs I have. I'm not saying that I haven't rubbed before but I've learned to be careful approaching obstacles. I'm good.99.99% of the time.

Both look awesome!! Mine is def a lot lower. But then again I like the low look. Still yet to take her out and test the ride and bumps though!!

Did you put the flowmasters on? I'd like to hear it. I'd like to compare to mine. For some reason mine don't sound like flowmasters. Post a video.

No the cat back is still sitting in the box in the garage and my phone takes terrible videos it's a junk phone. The car has a deep tone to it almost like an off road h-pipe and flowmasters sounds but it's for sure an x-pipe and def not flowmaster mufflers.

I have an o/r h pipe and flowmeter from where I'm sitting it sounds like a loud trumpet. Lol. I'd like to see what it would sound like with an o/r x pipe. But I can't get one for my mid length headers unless I have one custom made. I'm going to let someone drive it and follow them so I can get a different perspective.

My personal preference with the mod motors is an x-pipe all day long. Now I like an h-pipe on the fox 5.0 cars. But hey that's just my 0.2cents worth that's what makes the world go round!!

Prochamber definitely sounds good. Like I said maybe it's just me from where I'm sitting but I'm not a huge fan of the way mine sounds. Chris drove it once from my house to his and I was behind him for a min and it sounded better. And now that I'm not driving it everyday maybe it will get better.

On the fence big time with what to do at this point. This new flowmaster cat back is the stainless set up so maybe I will pull it and polish it up and throw it on. I did spray this Bassani exhaust with high temp black after I cleaned it up and it looks 10x better on the car.

Your fine Blkcobra01 yes I am selling this exhaust and think vickers wants it but I've gotta get my new exhaust polished up and this bassani stuff pulled back off. Just havnt had any spare time to get everything done.
