View Full Version : 04 drivers side rear wheel bearing housing.
The cobra is down until I can find the bracket\housing that holds the wheel bearing. That big aluminum piece. Loose bearing messed up the housing. Anyone have it? It's the drivers side rear. Wouldn't mind having one that has a bearing and hub with it. I'll pick it up ASAP. It's off my 04 cobra but i think any 99 to 04 will work. I'm sure I'm not explaining what this is properly feel free to text me at 513 317 0870

Pretty sure thats a 03-04 Cobra specific part. Probably better off ordering it new from like RockAuto or the like.
I think it's the same on all of them. If anyone knows for sure let me know.

Its the rear knuckle and hub assembly. I didn't look for the best price but the Ford part number is on this page.

It would be 03-4 specific since they are only ones with irs unless another ford product uses it like awd exploder or something

The 99-01 Cobra has IRS as well. Im pretty sure the 03-04 has larger axles though. Sean ask Josh, he would know for sure Id bet.
Looks like ford lists same axle for the cobra on that body
mine broke too, knuckle stayed intact though. what causes this?
Mine was either the 36mm nut came loose or was never tight enough.
Got what i needed. Delete thanks.

The 36MM nuts are known to back off every oil change or periodically you should torque these nuts to 250ft.lbs to keep this from happening.
